Insane Musical Glasses

Posted by ebowen On April - 4 - 2009

I’ve seen things like this before but this guy (Petr Spatina) takes playing glasses to another level…I can’t even get the damn things to to squeak…of course I’m mildly retarded.

Day by Day Armageddon by JL BourneCell by Stephen KingDying to Live by Kim PaffenrothWorld War Z by Max BrooksPlague of the Dead by ZA RechtThe Living Dead 1 and 2 are fantastic short story cooinlatimps including stories by many of today’s top authors. It’s edited by John Joseph Adams. All the stories are zombie, but there is a lot of variation on the zombie apocalypse theme. If you’re interested in something young adult, try The Enemy by Charlie Higson. You might also try I Am Legend by Richard Matheson (nothing like the movie) and The Strain by Guillermo del Toro. They’re both categorized as vampire, but they are not your normal vampires (no sparkling). They are apocalyptic tales and both are excellent. There’s a lot of good suggestions for straight up apocalyptic fiction above. My personal favorites:One Second After by William ForstchenThe Road by Cormac McCarthyThe Postman by David BrinThe Stand by Stephen KingSwan Song by Robert McCammonEarth Abides by George R StewartDies the Fire by SM STirlingOryx and Crake by Margaret Atwood (and Handmaid’s Tale and The Year of the Flood)Lucifer’s Hammer by Larry NivenYoung adult:Chaos Walking series by Patrick NessBlood Red Road by Moira YoungLife As We Knew It by Susan Beth PfefferEvery time I think I’ve finished a list of post apocalyptic favorites, I’ll remember another one, so I’m stopping. I’m sure there some I’ve read that I’ve missed typing here.
