This thing is awesome…they managed to work almost every academy award winning movie cliche into three and a half minutes. All the way down into going full retard.

Wow…Watching this Onion parody is exactly what has been happening for the last year. It’s like watching an Obama administration strategy session on how to waste…er…spend tax money. I seriously didn’t know if it was fake. Health care, stimulus, retarded budgets…you gotta spend your way out of debt. None of these are in any way different than the money hole.
This is an awesome video of a guy in a club out in Charlotte riffing to whatever he sees that comes up on the Chatroulette wheel…it’s awesome. I’ve never done Chatroulette, I have no interest. But my friend has his girlfriend get on there and while she’s chatting with randoms he sneaks up behind her so they can see him and pretends to kill her. Shenanigans ensue.
This digital short “Two Worlds Collide” from SNL with Andy Samberg and Kenan Thompson is perhaps one of the top five funniest things I’ve ever seen in my life. I laughed hysterically the first 15 times I watched the thing. I’m thoroughly convinced that with this clip, the scared straight character, and many others that Kenan Thompson is the funniest person on SNL right now…after watching Good Burger I would have never thought I’d being saying those words.
That would be Lola Astanova does her rendition of Rhianna’s “Don’t Stop the Music”…what did you think I meant? Pervs. Actually, I’m not a big fan of Rhianna for several reasons, not the least of which is I think she looks like an alien. We’ve been thinking of renting out space on her forehead for an ad for our site. Plenty. Of. Space. But it’s ok, Lola has taken the song well beyond where she found it and done something truly unique. You should check out her other videos…she’s amazing.
Thanks again Seth
Yes, it’s a word…if you don’t believe me look it up in…ok I made it up, but it definitely applies to this video. I realize that this is just a commercial for Samsung SSDs but I find it cool, if completely corny. They daisy chain 24 256GB SSDs together for 6 TB of SSD storage and 2GB per second of throughput to the processor. For those of you who are still reading this and thought I was just speaking some Latvian regional dialect I will translate from nerd…
Solid State Drives (SSD) have no moving parts. Normal hard drives store data on spinning discs, or platters. As computer processors and memory have gotten faster hard drives really haven’t and as a result computers aren’t as fast as they could be, and because they spin at 7-10k RPM they wear down faster than they would without moving parts. SSDs allow for faster access to the data on your drive which means everything works faster…and I mean FUCKING FAST. They’re lighter, faster, smaller, and can cost 5 times as much as a regular hard drive…
Just check this video out. Note: I don’t recommend defragmenting an SSD like they do in the video, it could be very detrimental to it’s health.
Now, you may want to argue over if everything in the clips on this site are gibberish or not, but I don’t really care. It’s just a title for a stupid blog post. The Canadian College of English Language has provided us with The Pop Culture Translator™ that takes six scenes from popular culture and translates them into English…er…kinda. The Ozzy Osbourne clip proves difficult, even for the experts. It’s simple but effective.
I’m always getting these links from my boy Seth to add to the site and I feel bad that I’ve been too lazy to do it for so long because he gives me better shit than I find myself sometimes. Cameron Carpenter, the man in in this clip is…well there are no words to describe how good he is at the organ, you just have to watch and be amazed.
It’s been a while since I had a new post up here but I’ve consulted with the Muse and was inspired to start posting again. Over a year ago I posted an entry called Best Drum Solo Ever . In it there was an anonymous drummer rocking out at what seemed to a marching band competition. I now know that the drummer’s name is Tim Jackson of The Blue Devils marching band. Tim won 4 straight Individual & Ensemble national titles. I thought I’d share another unbelievable drum solo from the 2006 finals…enjoy!
Also check out this 18 drum solo…he kinda messes up with the flourishes, but who cares?
