I’m totally into this…
28 years ago the aliens came to our planet and were sent to slums in “District 9″ an area in South Africa. Control of the area was given to Multi-National United (MNU), a private company who’s only interest was exploiting the aliens for their awesome weapons technology. They’ve not been able to do so because the weapons require alien DNA to work. But now one of MNUs field operatives, Wikus van der Merwe (Sharlto Copley), has stumbled into the district and contracted a virus that is mutating his DNA…hijinks ensue.
The movie is directed by Neill Blomkamp (directed only short films up til now) and produced by the one and only Peter Jackson who you might remember from his direction in The Frighteners…and some other low budget movies…this looks to be a great movie. Unlike Transformers, directed by hack extraordinaire Michael Bay, it has a story, acting, and characters that you care about. I’m really excited about this. It is set to release on 14 August 2009. Robogeisha…Japan Keeps Cranking out the Weird

I…I…I just don’t know what to say about this trailer for the upcoming film Robogeisha by Noboru Iguchi. It made me do several double, and triple, takes. I love the handicapped gun, fried shrimp, and tengu milk attacks. I mean come on, WHAT THE FUCK? I’ve seen weirder shit…A LOT weirder shit but that’s all on 4chan so I can’t post it here. I mean I won’t post it here because it’ll make most of you throw up (you’re welcome), but this is ridiculous.
